Terms & Policies

The following are the terms and policies of Degu Web Dev™ (aka DeguArts™). By using this website, you are agreeing to these terms.

Commissions

  1. After defining the scope of the project, a quote will be provided. That quote will not change unless the project lasts over 6 months or the scope changes.
  2. Payment will be discussed as deposit, lump sump, or other method. This will be a case-by-case basis.
  3. If no contact is received from the client within 6 months, files and any work may be archived, deleted, or repurposed, and the project essentially cancelled. If any monetary payment had been made at this point it will not be refunded.
  4. I will maintain a project for up to 1 year from completion and launch. Additional mantainance or assistance afterwords may have a fee. Changes to my code which break it without my assistance may also have additional fees.
  5. I do not host websites or purchase domains for my clients. I will however help with the setup and instructions of these items. I am not responsible for forgotten renewals.
  6. Any credit placed in the code of my work shall not be removed if it is still in use.
  7. I am not responsible for content displayed on client websites. The views, information, or opinions expressed on client websites are solely those of the individuals involved and do not represent those of Degu Web Dev. However, please let me know of any harmful behavior.

  1. Degu Web Dev strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. I have tried to help ensure that my website and in-person booths are made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.
  2. I will continue my efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of this site and my services in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use for those of us with disabilities.

    1. When you visit the site, basic technical data may also be collected, such as: your IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited. This helps keep the site working and lets me understand what people are viewing.

    1. Your information is used only to: prevent fraud or abuse, and improve the website. I do not sell or rent your personal information.
    2. This site uses Cloudflare (security and site performance). These services may collect limited technical data (like IP address or browser type) to do their job.

    1. This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser. However, disabling some cookies may break some areas of the website.
